The Cherries’ big day finally arrived as they began their debut Premier League season at home versus Aston Villa.

We’ve watched all the streams of the friendlies, the interviews with the players, read all the previews from the pundits and now we are set to go.
This weekend AFC Bournemouth finally kick off their debut season in the Premier League.
Normally the off-season drags along (unless of course, there is an international tournament for England to perform abysmally in) but that Championship trophy lifting day at Charlton only seems like yesterday.
I think it’s because there hasn’t been a day since then when I haven’t talked about Bournemouth, or read something about them.

As a supporter of AFC Bournemouth, a tiny football club on the south coast of England, you would add ‘Become a Premier League team’ to that list.
June 2014 is upon us and so as an Englishman, it’s time to become as excited as a 6-year-old on Christmas Day.
The time that comes around every four years.
The time that brings so much enjoyment. And, the time when I always, and I mean ALWAYS, end up crying into a pint of beer… the FIFA World Cup!
